Downtown Brooklyn Young Adult Borough Center (YABC) provides afternoon and evening programs for high school students to earn a high school diploma. Students graduate with a diploma from their home school after they have earned all their credits and passed all the required exams while attending the YABC. Students can attend classes at the YABC school or attend their home school in the day and go to YABC in the evening. The YABCs are managed by Disctrict 79 and supported by the Learning to Work program, which offers paid internships, student support services, in-depth job readiness, and college and career exploration activities.
