Artistic Noise works with youth while they’re incarcerated and when they return home to their community. It offers weekly workshops for participants to develop their business skills and creative abilities. Youth are given a stipend and full access to AN's facilities, including opportunities with its partner institutions: School of Visual Arts, MoMA, Whitney Museum of American Art and Columbia University. The free workshops are offered two times a week on Monday - Thursdays from 4 PM to 7 PM during the school year and a summer program is offered. Class size ranges from 10 to 15 students. Youth can self-refer or be referred by their probation officer or other agency.
