Eligible veterans have the opportunity to add the word “VETERAN” to their Driving License/ID card to indicate that they have served in the United States military. This can help veterans access certain privileges, benefits, or compensation without having to carry a certificate of release or discharge from active duty. The VSO can help with the application process.
