The VeggieRx program includes a series of 8 classes held over 16 weeks. In these 1.5 hour-long classes, participants learn the basics of healthy eating, such as: strategies for eating more fresh produce, how to identify healthy fats and whole grains, and tips and tricks for eating healthy on a budget. Drop-in classes are also available. VeggieRx drop-in classes use the same lesson plans as classes in the 16-week program, though they are typically only 1 hour in duration.
