Coop Tech's web designer course requires that students have basic PC/Mac skills. and an 8th grade reading level and above. Students also need to be able to perform basic mathematics including percentages and fractions. The course initially focuses on IT business needs and network functioning and then mark-up language and site development, HTML5 Coding, style sheets and graphical elements, GUI HTML editors and mobile web sites, web sites for business, network plus cloud security and compatibility. The course is geared towards passing the Adobe Dreamweaver Certification and prepares students for post-secondary training in the field. The course is offered at the 96th Street campus in the morning (8:30 AM to 11 AM) or afternoon (12:30 PM to 3 PM).
