The Daughters/Sons of Tradition groups provide a space for American Indian youth grades 6-12 to discuss identity, culture, traditions and history. Groups are led by a Native staff member and held in traditional talking circle format.

Programming takes place Monday - Thursday. IEC offers transportation to the after-school program to most students, as well as transportation home provided the youth attend school and reside in Oakland, CA.
