The Short-term Rental, Mortgage, and Utility (STRMU) Assistance Program provides housing financial assistance to housed individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Aid can be used towards rent, mortgage, or basic utilities.
Eligibility Requirements
People with HIV/AIDS,
Resident of Alameda County,
Must be HIV+. Total household income cannot exceed 80% of Area Median Income. Cannot be receiving housing/utility help from another program. Monthly rent/mortgage payment plus basic utilities cannot be more than 60% of current monthly household income.
