Through the Direct Representation program, Esperanza staff attorneys offer legal services to unaccompanied children (UCs) seeking asylum or another immigration status. The most common forms of relief that they pursue are Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and Asylum, but they can pursue any eligible form of relief before USCIS and/or the immigration court.
