Eligibility descriptionTo be eligible to receive services, you must meet the following requirements: Have a type of case that NMILC handles; Be a resident of New Mexico; and Your income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines

Call their office during business hours for more information. Even if they are not able to handle your case, their staff can provide you with a referral to another legal service provider. NMILC also holds free, open attorney phone hours every Friday from 11 am to 1 pm for anyone that has questions regarding immigration, including their eligibility for asylum. If you are not sure if you meet the requirements to receive their services, call during the open phone hours to speak with an attorney.
