The Evergreen Health Insurance Program (EHIP) pays insurance premiums for people living with HIV who otherwise might not be able to afford it on their own. People need access to their medications, to their doctor’s appointments, to their care. A person’s ability to manage their health impacts everything else in that person’s life—quality of life, ability to work, as well as their mental health and emotional well-being. In addition to paying insurance premiums for people living with HIV, Lifelong also supports HIV negative individuals by paying the premiums for clients enrolled in the PrEP DAP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Drug Assistance Program).
