Green City Force’s Service Corps program prepares young adults who reside in New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and have a high school diploma or equivalency for careers through green service. Members gain hands-on experience through service under the supervision of Green City Force staff. Service includes responding to needs in public housing communities, cultivating and distributing fresh produce, building sustainable green infrastructure and sharing sustainability programs with neighbors.
