City of Pasadena can help individuals apply for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), a federally–funded supplemental food, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support program. WIC helps families by providing nutrition education and food benefits.
Eligibility Requirements
Pregnant,
Mothers,
Resident of Pasadena, South Pasadena, Sierra Madre and Altadena,
Family income must be at or below 185% of federal poverty guidelines. Eligible: Pregnant women; breastfeeding mothers; mothers until infant is 6 months old; women up to 6 months after pregnancy loss; children age 5 or younger; and caregivers.
