Youth witness demonstrations by artists and industry experts in different areas including Glass Flameworking, Glass Blowing, Welding, Blacksmithing, Jewelry, Foundry, Bicycles, Neon, Woodcarving and Torch Cutting. A Crucible field trip supports learning in mathematics, science, art and world cultures. Students witness firsthand how artists and makers are creating the objects that surround us and learn about the processes, tools, materials, and applications of industrial arts.
