Coordinated Outreach Referral and Engagement (CORE) connects adults and families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness with Contra Costa's Coordinated Entry program. The CORE team helps people access emergency shelter, check eligibility for Coordinated Entry housing, and can refer to community services.
Schedule
211 phone line available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, CORE teams are not available 24/7 and are not designed for crisis response, so it may be a few days until they make contact. CORE takes calls until midnight each night. If someone does not answer the phone and you’re calling before 4 pm, you may leave a message or try calling again. If you leave a message with a callback number, staff will call you back as soon as possible.
