Families with children seeking shelter must first apply at the Prevention Assistance and Temporary Housing (PATH) intake center. Families with children are considered to be families with children under 21 years of age, pregnant women, or families with a pregnant woman.

PATH is open 24 hours per day, including weekends and holidays. PATH processes applications during business hours (9:00am-5:00pm). Families who apply after 5:00pm may be assigned a temporary shelter placement for the night and transported back to PATH the next morning to complete their application.
