Young Horizons is a nonprofit organization serving children of low-income families since 1969. All teachers are certified and meet the requirements to teach young children of the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. They are required to continue their education to maintain their teaching permit and background checks are required for ALL staff. Our goal is to create an environment in which children are cared for, loved, and an environment in which they can learn. Our center has three purposes: Provide for the care and education of young children, provide parents with the resources they need to help them in their role as parents and provide quality, certified caregivers who are well-trained, warm and caring.
