Urban Academy Laboratory High School is a small, full-time high school for students who have fallen behind in credits or disconnected from school. This school has smaller class sizes and allows you to earn a high school diploma in less time than a traditional high school. This school also provides paid internships, student support, and helps you prepare for a job and/or college. Graduation rate was 79% (2022), the school year is broken up into semesters. The school offers Performance Based assessments (PBAT) in place of Regents Exams. Many students also take college courses at Hunter College or at Sarah Lawrence College.
