The program is progressive and project-based, and provides blended language and content coursework. Graduation rate was 42% (2021-2022) and is organized in trimesters. Students who enroll at ELLIS typically have less than one year living in the United States, are not yet proficient in English and are over-age for entering a New York City high school.
