"Woman picked up phone sounding super irritated, cut me off when I mentioned not living in California to say I should figure out the number for the state I live in, asked how I thought she'd be able to help since we sont live in the same state, then told me to finish the story soon because other callers were on the line and asked how my story was related to alcoholism (when it clearly was if she had been listening.) she was the least compassionate and most irritable person.... she volunteers to do this, obviously hates it, and isn't helping anyone- why are you doing it???"
"I was once the manager of an alano club! I knew better!! But, I became a full on alcoholic anyway! Tonight I was ready to reach out for HELP! None of these numbers work! Damn it! Wtf!? I wonder how many of us have lost their lives over this crap!!?"
"If I could give this zero I would. I called in a serious time of need, acceptance, & understanding & all the man said was, go ahead, I understand, okay bye. There ZERO help in this."
"WTF is a person supposed to do when NOBODY (i.e. counselor, sponsor or support group will answer a call or a text? Find a 24/7 number & call it! But WTF if they don't answer?!?!?"
