The Earl Greely Memorial Library, housed at OutReach, is one of the largest and most extensive LGBT libraries in the Midwest. The library honors the late Earl Greely, a much-beloved long-time Madison community resident & poet who was killed in a hate crime in northern Wisconsin in 1984. The library has books dealing with LGBT relationships, LGBT families, and LGBT youth. Our juvenile and young adult section has material about coming of age, coping with school issues, LGBT parents or family members, and coming out.
