Information Status
Pharmacy technicians are assistants to a licensed pharmacist, typically processing and dispensing both prescribed and over-the-counter medication to customers. This course prepares graduates are prepared to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). No healthcare or medical office work experience is required. The course is self paced and consists of 400 course hours completed over 12 months.
