ER Techs provide technical support to MDs and RNs to optimize patient care by conducting Phlebotomy and IV stats, administering 12-lead EKGs, transporting patients to other departments, conducting wound care, obtaining lab specimens and documenting all care/procedures provided. Students acquire life support, phlebotomy first aid, IV, wound care and other skills. 2 semester program. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
