This course introduces students to the basic principles of direct current circuits. Topics include engineering notation, series, parallel and series/parallel circuits. Students learn about current, voltage, resistance and DC theory through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on experience. Hands-on experiments include measurement techniques and troubleshooting using calculation and multimeter. Students must have at least fundamental math skills. 30 hours.
