This program teaches the skills needed to work under a registered pharmacist. Prepare for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) and become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Topics include history of pharmacy practice, law and ethics, basic math skills, medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names.
