Foothill College English as a Second Language Learners program (ESLL) provides instruction in the English language to adult, non-native English speakers. The free non-credit ESL courses are geared for students who want to develop their ability to understand, speak, read and write English. The for credit ESL courses require payment and are geared for students who wish to complete a two-year degree or vocational certificate or to transfer to a four-year college or university.
