BMCC-CUNY offers a Python Programming course. Students learn the Python programming language through study and hands-on practice, including how to harness its power to build non-trivial applications that have value and are fun to code. Prerequisites for this course include basic computer skills using MS Windows (Mac or Linux), a basic foundation of how software applications are designed and coded, an algebra level understanding of mathematics plus some academic or industry experience with some high level programming language.
