Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC)
Information Status
MNHC's birth preparation class has groups of 8-10 women scheduled to deliver the same month meet together with a facilitator throughout their pregnancy and after delivery. Services in the classes include medical care by Certified Nurse-Midwives, social support group, and activities, and classes centered around preparation for labor, breastfeeding, postpartum care, maternal nutrition, and how to care for your baby in the San Francisco area. Currently, classes are only offered in Spanish.
