Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, Inc. (DREDF) offers counseling and workshops for families of children who need special education assistance. If you live in Alameda, Contra Costa or San Joaquin Counties, an Education Advocate can talk to you about special education and give you resources so you can make informed decisions about your child’s education and other individual needs. DREDF also offers workshops including "Understanding the Special Education Process: IEP Basics & Beyond."
