Add a note
Due to the confidential nature of each group, the support group does not permit drop-ins. Adult support groups are held weeknights and occasional weekdays, Monday-Thursday, at both our West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills centers. Support groups meet for 90 minutes every other week for 6 to 24 months. Children’s support groups are held in the afternoons and early evening after school, Monday-Thursday, also at both our West L.A. and Woodland Hills centers. Support groups meet from 60 to 90 minutes every other week. Children are assigned to groups according to age and can join as space permits following an intake session. Children typically stay in group from 18 to 24 months and benefit from the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings with one another as well as acquiring coping skills to use outside of their group.
