Young Adult Borough Centers (YABCs) are afternoon and evening programs for high school students to earn a high school diploma. It helps students who are behind in credits or have adult responsibilities that make it hard to attend school during the day. The YABCs are managed by Disctrict 79 and supported by the Learning to Work program. Graduation rate was 74% in 2019-2020. Students age 17 can take all their classes at YABC. Students age 16 can enroll in the shared program and take classes at their home and YABC schools.
