Get services for individuals with disabilities who wish to live on their own

East Bay Innovations (EBI) Information Status

Independent Living Services (ILS) provide support to people with developmental disabilities who wish to live on their own. ILS provides education and support in the following areas: meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, household maintenance, scheduling/attending medical and dental appointments, finding housing, finding roommates, and utilizing public transportation.
Schedule
Independent Living Services (ILS) typically provides a maximum of nine hours per week for teaching and support during the initial stages of an individual's transition to independent living. As the individual progresses toward greater independence, the service hours gradually decrease over time.
Eligibility Requirements
People with disabilities, Must be a client of the Regional Center of the East Bay to be eligible for Independent Living Services.
