Program for Torture Victims (PTV) works with a network of attorneys and legal aid organizations to get legal assistance for survivors of torture and persecution. Their staff conduct forensic medical and psychological evaluations, serve as expert witnesses for asylum cases in federal immigration proceedings and for human rights or war crimes trials in international courts.
