Information Status
Injunction for Protection (IFP) Project at Peaceful Paths helps victims of domestic violence navigate the judicial system. Victim Advocates and attorneys are available in Alachua, Bradford, and Union counties to aid victims in filing for injunctions (orders of protection), obtaining legal referrals, referrals for assistance from law enforcement, referrals for medical help, referrals to other social services, filing Victim’s Compensation, criminal justice support, and completing the Address Confidentiality Program. Additionally, Victim Advocates can provide safety planning, crisis counseling and intervention, and assistance in screenings for shelter.
