Welcome Baby provides an opportunity for parents to learn about their new role as mom or dad, early child development and obtaining assistance on issues such as basic health care, insurance coverage, nutrition, breastfeeding, family violence, maternal depression, or improving home safety. The program is free, community-wide, voluntary, and provides hospital and home-based intervention for pregnant and postpartum women.
