The Conflict Intervention Service (CIS) program uses skilled mediators to resolve disputes in affordable housing that can lead to eviction or homelessness. CIS provides individuals with guidance and advice through their phone helpline or facilitates a formal, in-person mediation session when needed. The program covers disputes between tenants and between tenants and landlords.
