PNM's Good Neighbor Fund helps customers pay their electric bill. Income qualified customers who are facing a financial emergency can receive a grant to help pay part or all of a past-due PNM bill. Customers must first apply for assistance through the New Mexico Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) program.
Eligibility Requirements
Grant recipients need proof of emergency situation that occurred in the last six months that has caused a loss in household income. Monthly income limits by household size: 1 person = $1,595; 2 persons = $2,155 ; 3 persons = $2,717; 4 persons = $3,275.
