APLA Health Benefits Counseling helps people living with HIV/AIDS to understand public and private benefits and assists with coordinating benefits. Benefits programs include, but are not limited to Social Security programs (SSI & SSDI), AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP, OA-Health Insurance Premium Payment (OA-HIPP) plus Medicare Part D.

People with HIV/AIDS,
Resident of Los Angeles County,
Provide proof of HIV/AIDS diagnosis signed by a California physician, identification, and income. Service is for APLA members.,

Public and private insurance plans accepted. Sliding scale fee offered. No one will be denied care for lack of funds.
