LAFLA provides assistance to individuals who need help applying for government benefits as well as individuals who have been wrongly denied benefits. LAFLA staff can help with the following programs: CalWORKS, Foster Care, Medi-Cal, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), CAPI (State Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants), CalFresh (food stamps), In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), and General Relief.

Eligibility descriptionYour income must be less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. However, sometimes individuals with incomes over 125% of the federal poverty guidelines can also qualify. Call LAFLA to see if you are eligible.
