Adult Literacy Program (ALP) offered by Los Angeles Public Library is for individuals to work one on one with an adult tutor to improve their reading and literacy skills. After a skills evaluation you are matched with a tutor. You meet with your tutor 2 times a week. Meetings last 1.5 hours. ALP also provides free learning materials.
