The Adult Literacy Program (ALP) offered by the Los Angeles Public Library is for individuals to work one on one with an adult tutor to improve their reading and literacy skills. Tutors meet virtually with students in any branch twice a week for 1 to 1½ hours at a time for a minimum of six months.
