Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy's LINC offers a six week program for high school students to assist with service projects and gain career and leadership skills. There are two locations: Golden Gate in San Francisco and Tam in Marin County. Projects and activities vary by week and include trail work, plant propagation, and habitat restoration. Each session starts with a four day camping trip. All students receive an educational award up to $2,300 upon completion of the program.
Schedule
Students will work 8 hour days, 4 days per week (Tuesday-Friday) for a total of 6 weeks. Generally, the program starts in mid-June and ends the last week of July or the first week of August.
