YouthWorks places San Francisco high school 11th and 12th graders in paid internships at over 30 San Francisco city agencies. They also offer workshops and activities to teach job readiness and explore opportunities for public service careers. Internships require a minimum of 6 hours per week during the school year or 16 hours per week in the summer. Most take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays.
