The Jonathan Lax Treatment Center provides HIV primary care regardless of the patient’s insurance status or ability to pay. The Lax Center houses two sub-clinics. The Hepatitis Clinic is a special program for those living with HIV and Hepatitis B and/or C. The MDR Clinic (multi-drug resistance) is for those who have exhausted first-line treatment, and need assistance in finding alternatives. The patient does not have to be a Lax Center patient to access these sub-clinics. Early morning and evening sessions are available. Everything possible is done to accommodate the needs of working adults in order to access care in a convenient and confidential manner.
