Attend parenting classes for mothers and fathers

Information Status
SCIC provides individual classes that teach parenting skills that encourage family strengthening for new parents or caregivers who are new to contemporary parenting. This workshop series teaches traditional parenting practices, fosters community support, and empowers new parents in their roles as mothers and fathers. Babies are welcome to attend the class.
Eligibility Requirements
Parents,
Native American,
Resident of Los Angeles, Orange County,
Must be living at or below Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
Documentation Needed to Enroll
Must have Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood or Proof of Tribal Enrollment; Birth Certificate that lists a Native Hawaiian parent for Native Hawaiians; State issued identification card or Driver's License or Social Security Card.
