AHRC New York City offers an Advance & Earn program for youth ages 16-24 living in New York City, who are not currently in school or another employment program and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The program is 20 weeks long and includes a GED preparation track with work readiness training, job placement assistance, industry credentialing, and a $150 weekly stipend or paid internship ($16/hour for up to 250 hours); and another track for participants with a high school diploma, focusing on Direct Support Professional training, including certifications and a paid internship ($16/hour for up to 250 hours). Both tracks provide participants with resources like lunch, metro cards, and technology support.
