Apply for in home supportive services (IHHS)

Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services (EHSD) Information Status

IHSS helps to pay for services to eligible aged, blind, and disabled individuals who are unable to remain safely in their own homes without assistance. Disabled children are also potentially eligible for IHSS. IHSS is an alternative to out-of-home care such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, or board and care facilities.

Monday - Friday8 am - 5 pm
Eligibility Requirements
Participant in Medicaid/Medi-Cal, People with disabilities, Must be a California resident, have MediCal eligibility determination, live in own home, and complete a Health Certification form.
