Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)
MALDEF offers unpaid internships for students interested in litigation, public policy, and community advocacy work. Interns conduct client intake interviews, perform legal research and draft legal memoranda, attend depositions and court hearings, assess legislation and public policy initiatives, and provide litigation support to the regional counsel and staff attorneys.
