"i was living in shelters and under bridges for up to 9 yrs. and 10 yrs ago GA finally offered me a SRO. it was a horrible place but it was inside and out of the elements. i was still free to come and go all hours if i chose and it was a place i could close and lock my door, toilets and bath down the hall. i can't tell anyone enough to get with one of the inhouse coundelors and start the transition process to section 8, do it yesterday. i was stupid and started it late and i wound up in that rat hole for 10 yrs. once i started the paperwork with the counselor i was in a huge studio with in a yr. so props to THC and shame on me for not taking the time to do the right thing. AJ Thompson was my contact and now i'm not her client any longer we are friends. she is a good one"
