Information Status
In this Dental Assistant program, students study anatomy and physiology, preventive dentistry, patient care and communication, radiology, pharmacology, anesthesia, assisting in specialty practices, employment strategies and more. Toward the end of the course, or after completion, students have the opportunity to apply for an externship for real-life clinical assistant experience. This program is self-paced and consists of 300 hours taken over 12 months.
