Take courses at CUNY to become a Child Development Associate

This online course in childcare and education allows graduates to earn their national Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and achieve their career goals as a teacher or child care professional. Students learn the development stages for infants, toddlers, and pre-school-age children, how to establish positive and productive relationships with personnel, parents and families, and children, how to effectively manage a child care facility plus procedures and strategies to provide a safe and enriching child care environment. This 120 hour program is taught over 6 months.
