In this hands-on course, participants learn the fundamentals of AutoCAD 2019 to prepare 2D drawings for architecture, interior design, mechanical & structural engineering and other design fields. Topics include the AutoCAD drawing interface, display commands, CAD tools and drawing setup, including scale coordinate systems, snaps and grips, basic draw and edit commands, layers, text, blocks, modify commands, plotting plus printing basics. Prerequisite: Computer literacy and basic skills are required. Includes a 1-year AutoCAD student license. 42 hours.
